I mean Zach is gone a good chunk of the day and when he gets home it's get the kids into bed, clean up, go to bed ourselves and start all over again. (-then you throw in church meetings and such) Hence the side by side, but not idea. We really don't physically work side by side in most things. Even so, I feel so supported by him. I think this is the essence of side by side- that wherever I go, I know I have his support and I know he believes in me.
I'm so glad I have Zach to have by my side-even if he's not all the time! :) He really is the best!(Ben took this pic-pretty good huh?)

Totally cute Skippy. I too never realized how much time we don't spend together once you are married, but isn't it great that they work so hard?
That's a cute picture of you guys. Josh and I have talked about that too- he spends more time (awake) with people at work than he does with me, but what can we do? Just enjoy every minute we do have together.
I am so with you on this one. I swear it can be days before Aaron and I get to see each other for more than 5 minutes.

(by the way I think I saw Ben at chili's in Centerville last week-then again I've only ever seen him on the blog-so maybe not)

This is so totally true! We spend more time apart- but I feel like we're totally together! Crazy.
i agree, we're apart way too much. but there is just this feeling of not being alone and it's wonderful! here's to all of us becoming independently wealthy so we can spend time together all day!
I just love this post. I feel the same way, and sometimes, I get sad that Bruce can't be with us more, but, like you, I'm so grateful for all he does for our family. We're all here to support each other, and that's all we can do!
I completely agree! It's nice to know that we our companions through it all. Maybe in the eternities life will slow down a bit and we'll see each other more?
You guys are so cute! I love it! Thanks for the inspiring thoughts about side by side but not, that is how I totally feel, especially this week and I am drained...I am glad it is Friday and nothing going on so I can suggle on the couch with my sweetie and watch Enchanted. We need to be side by side sometimes... ;)
