Who's hungry?

Oh gee, it's me, Zach, Ben and Sarah! Ben and Sarah eat the food off their plates, our plates and practically the food out of our mouths! Well, they are both feeling better!
We are constantly amazed at how much they are eating! Ben mostly but Sarah too. He ate as much spaghetti as Zach did tonight, plus his beans! He wanted some spaghetti off my plate and ate all of it! Today for lunch he ate spaghettios, an egg sandwich (that Zach made for himself) and peaches and wanted more. Two hours before dinner he had two bowls of cereal and then gobbled his dinner! I find my mouth open more often than not these days! I am AMAZED at how much they are eating!
We'll see how much they grow in a month, we marked it on the wall today, shoulda done it last week when all this fun started, but today will do. (too bad that by marking their height on the wall Sarah thought it was our way of giving permission for wall art)
A few days after my last post they started feeling better and it has been SO NICE! I can't believe the difference! I really was beginning to question if anyone was going to survive! It seemed because they weren't feeling well and they were tired there were always tears and they just couldn't get along and play. Now, they play and tease and wrestle some and are having good times again! I am just relieved and enjoying myself watching them. They are too cute!

I miss my kids...

The poor things, they have been sick since the first of December or so and it is just sad. They get over one thing and then something else comes on. I miss their energy, their smiles and their laughter. It seems all I hear is silence because they are too exhausted to talk or whining or moaning or crying from pain or frustration. It is probably one of the hardest things to see your kids sick. I wish there were more I could do!

I mean, don't get me wrong, they have their moments where they are themselves but it is still sad. Take just now for instance, I had already put Sarah to bed, it had been about a half hour and then she began crying. I went in, she was standing in her crib. I held her for a while, gave her a drink and so on, I put her back down, she looked up at me and gave a big cheesy, toothy grin and laughed. She has a fever of 102 and is mostly miserable and I gotta give it to her, she melted my little heart. I sure hope they both get better soon.

Looking Back....

I thought this was too fun not to share. Sarah is becoming more and more personality. She will be 17 months on Tuesday. A few weeks ago she brought one of my maternity shirts into the kitchen, held it up to me and said "pees, pees". I helped her put it on and then she wouldn't hold still, she was just dancing and modeling. I just can't get over how different Ben and Sarah are!
I started to video her the first time, she stopped to pose for the picture. Kids are so fun!
