I miss my kids...

The poor things, they have been sick since the first of December or so and it is just sad. They get over one thing and then something else comes on. I miss their energy, their smiles and their laughter. It seems all I hear is silence because they are too exhausted to talk or whining or moaning or crying from pain or frustration. It is probably one of the hardest things to see your kids sick. I wish there were more I could do!

I mean, don't get me wrong, they have their moments where they are themselves but it is still sad. Take just now for instance, I had already put Sarah to bed, it had been about a half hour and then she began crying. I went in, she was standing in her crib. I held her for a while, gave her a drink and so on, I put her back down, she looked up at me and gave a big cheesy, toothy grin and laughed. She has a fever of 102 and is mostly miserable and I gotta give it to her, she melted my little heart. I sure hope they both get better soon.

We are in the same boat. My kids haven't been themselves in forever! I'm so sick of it. I just want to take them outside and play or something. Hope you guys all start feeling better really SOON!

I hope they start feeling better soon. It is definitely the worst to see your own kids sick.

I vote for warm weather soon, that would cure them. I am also not a fan. Abby woke up tonight and threw up on her bed. Yeah that was fun. :) Good luck.

Thanks for the invite. Having sickies is NO fun at all...I relate to feeling like you want your kids back. Thank heavens for times like that though to make you appreciate them even more!

Okay, I have managed to keep Kierscha healthy all winter. It could be because we live in California now, but I truely believe it is because of the silver that I give her. Whenever she shows any signs of being sick, I give her a tsp of silver. It's called Nature's Sunshine, and I buy it online at Betterherbs. Let me know if you are interested.
