I don't know what you all thought, but I'm almost positive many of you were thinking what I was thinking...."a talk just for me! Oh thank you!"..."I really needed that!"
I just loved conference this weekend! Oh man! I came away feeling motivated, happy, like life is good, I can do better and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to be here at this time, to be a wife and a mother! My job is important, I just need to be a little better and try a little harder.
I loved the counsel Elder Ballard gave! It is so important that we fill our well so that we will have water to draw for our families and the others we serve. So good!
I am just so thankful to know we are lead by a Prophet of God, His mouth piece! How important it is that we sustain him with our prayers and in our actions.
The church is true!
So, how do you fill your wells? Suggestions?

I loved that talk too. I think it's easy for mothers to feel under-appreciated, and talks like those remind us that the Lord is really mindful of all that we do and that we need to keep at it, and even try to do it a little better!
amen sista! i am so glad that i was actually listening when he talked. it's so much harder with a baby. toddler, whatever, she so wanted my attention like the whole time.
I only caught bits and pieces of that talk, trying to listen, but Dan was very receptive to it as well, and was full of compliments for me afterward. It was so sweet. So many of the talks hit home this time. It was such a great conference!
I jsut finished listening to it and it made me feel rally great about the work I do, no matter how small.
I couldn't agree with you more. ALL of conference was so uplifting. I couldn't help but tell Matt over and over how grateful I am for him after listening to that!

Can we just say I was praying for help and answers to come during conference and that talk was for ME!!! That was an answer to many prayers and I BAWLED through the whole thing! I felt so loved and completely understood. I had to laugh because it was the 2nd to last talk of ALL conference. Save the best for last! :)
